Success story of a recurrence case of Fistula in ano, treated at Shri Dhanwantari Clinic, Ghaziabad by Ayurveda Kshara sutra treatment

Mr. B. Prasad, aged about 42 years, a state government employee, felt some pain at his left perianal region in February 2104.  He consulted his General Physician who had prescribed him some regular NSAIDs (Pain killer) and antibiotics.  He got some relief but after a period of about 10-15 days, he felt some nodule or boil at the same site with some discharge of pus like material. He again visited his Physician who referred him to a reputed surgeon of a multispecialty hospital in Ghaziabad.  The surgeon, upon examination had told Mr. Prasad that it was Fistula in ano and advised him to get operated.  On 21^st February 2104 Mr. Prasad had been operated upon by the same surgeon in that multispecialty hospital. The follow-up course was of about 20-25 days and he took antibiotics and painkillers along with regular dressings on daily basis. However his wound was only partially healed (superficially) and there were intermittent discharge of pus from it. When Mr. Prasad asked about it, the surgeon told him that one more surgery will be required to heal it completely.

Mr. Prasad started studying about Fistula in ano and searched information through internet and other sources of information and he came to know about Shri Dhanwantari Clinic and Dr. Naveen Chauhan, a leading Kshara sutra practitioner in Ghaziabad. He has visited at Shri Dhanwantari Clinic, Ghaziabad on 6^th July 2014 where Dr. Chauhan has diagnosed Fistula in ano with external opening at 4’o clock position and internal opening at 6’oclock position inside the anal canal (Ustragreev Bhagandar in Ayurveda terminology). The Fistulogram (Special X-rays for Fistula/sinus) releavealed similar finding but there was another track was visible as a branch of the main track in the X-Rays film. Dr. Chauhan had advised him Kshara sutra karma for it.

On 18^th July 2014 Dr. Chauhan had performed the Kshara sutra procedure on Mr. Prasad at Apex Multispeciality Hospital, Ghaziabad which is a collaborating centre of Shri Dhanwantari Clinic, Ghaziabad, under spinal anaesthesia. The main track was probed by a malleable copper probe and primary kshara sutra threading was done. Aseptic dressing was applied. Mr. Prasad was discharged from the hospital next day. The follow-up sittings were taken place at Shri Dhanwantari Clinic, Ghaziabad and Dr. Chauhan changed the Kshara sutra on weekly basis. Besides, some Ayurvedic medicines and daily dressings were also prescribed.

Mr. Prasad had a cut through of Fistula track on 26^th October 2014 and the wound healed completely simultaneously. He is very happy now and is very much thankful to Dr. Naveen Chauhan and Shri Dhanwantari Clinic, Ghaziabad, where he has got permanent cure for his Fistula in ano by Ayurveda Kshara sutra therapy.
